Ponderosa Master Bath Suite
A cramped 1970s master bathroom transformed into a full spa suite. Walk-in shower with bench, freestanding soaking tub, dual vanity, and radiant-heat floor tile, all within the original footprint by reclaiming a closet.

The original bathroom had a 32-inch shower stall, a single vanity, and a builder-grade tub that had genuinely never been used. The clients had been putting it off for years, mostly because they didn’t know where to start.
A guided design session helped them find their style: Spa Minimal. Muted stone tones, clean surfaces, materials that feel calm without feeling cold. Once they had that language, every decision got easier.
We absorbed the adjacent linen closet to gain 42 square feet, moved plumbing for the tub position, and ran new circuits for radiant heat and the vanity mirrors. The finished room feels nothing like the one we started with. It’s quiet, personal, and actually gets used now.
