Accessibility Statement

Our Commitment
Stronghold Construction is committed to ensuring that builtstronghold.com is accessible to people with disabilities. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA — the internationally recognized standard for accessible web content.
This isn't a checkbox exercise. We want every person who visits this site to be able to get the information they need, request a quote, and reach us without running into barriers.
What We've Done
We've built this site with accessibility as a design consideration from the start. Specific measures include:
- Semantic HTML5 elements used throughout — headings, landmarks, lists, and navigation are properly marked up so assistive technologies can interpret page structure.
- Keyboard navigation is supported site-wide. All interactive elements — links, buttons, and form fields — are reachable and operable without a mouse.
- Images include descriptive
alttext so screen readers can convey visual content to users who can't see it. - Color contrast in our design system meets WCAG 2.1 AA minimums for both normal and large text.
- The layout is fully responsive, adapting to a wide range of viewport sizes including mobile devices and browser zoom levels up to 200%.
- The site is designed to work with common screen readers, including JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver, as well as keyboard-only navigation workflows.
Known Limitations
We're being straightforward here: this site is a work in progress and there are areas we're still improving.
- Some older content and images may not yet have complete or fully descriptive alt text. We're working through these systematically.
- Third-party embedded content — specifically our contact and quote forms, which are handled by Formspree — may have their own accessibility limitations that are outside our direct control. We've selected Formspree in part for its accessibility commitments, but we cannot guarantee parity with our own conformance targets.
If you encounter a specific issue, please tell us. We'd rather know about it and fix it than leave it unaddressed.
How to Report an Accessibility Issue
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on this website — something you can't reach, read, or operate — please contact us:
- Email hello@builtstronghold.com
- Phone (928) 962-7535
When you reach out, it helps to describe what page you were on, what you were trying to do, and what assistive technology or browser you were using — though any report is welcome. We commit to responding within 2 business days.
Formal Feedback Process
If you report an accessibility issue and aren't satisfied with the response, or if the issue hasn't been resolved to your satisfaction, you can escalate directly to the business owner. Contact us by phone at (928) 962-7535 or by email at hello@builtstronghold.com and request that your concern be escalated to the owner. We take these seriously and will follow up personally.
Non-Discrimination Statement

We are committed to providing equal access to information about our services and to the services themselves, consistent with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable Arizona law.
